A representative from McCann will be here on Tuesday, May 2nd during AS.  This is for seniors who have not decided what their plans are after graduation.  

The Penn State Representative will be here today during ASC.  This is for any students interested in applying to Penn State campuses or Penn College.

  • Shirley Jarrett Gromlich Scholarship is now open. This is for senior girls scholar/athletes 
  • Metzger Wichersham “Road to Safety” Scholarship Contest
  • Rich Huff Scholarship 
  • The Junior Woman’s Club of Milton Health Careers Scholarship 
  • Central Susquehanna Builders Association Scholarships  - These are for seniors who will be going for architecture, electrical, building construction, heavy equipment, etc.
  • Student Scholarships. Org have new scholarships  (There are also scholarships for underclassman)
  • Norman E Buck – seniors who will be pursuing a career in one of the following: plumbing, heating, air condition, music, culinary arts or hospitality
  • Milton Garden Club - for a senior who will be going into the field of horticulture, floral design, conservation agriculture & ect.
  • MAEA - Joseph Kowalski Scholarship for seniors pursuing a major in education
  • Michael Welliver Memorial Scholarship is offered to MAEA members’ son/daughter entering college. You don’t have to be going for education
  • The Milton High School Booster Club Scholarships

Senior Events Schedule 2017

Wednesday, May 24 through Friday, May 26, 2017

Senior Finals – these will be given/due at teacher’s discretion.

Seniors are not required to attend classes from Tuesday May 30th – Wednesday, June 7th.  If a senior does not have transportation to arrive for the following events (voluntary or mandatory), they would need to utilize their regular form of transportation and will remain in the school for the duration of the regular school day unless they arrange their own transportation home.

Wednesday, May 31st

Senior Service Day – Information distributed by Mrs. Ranck

Thursday, June 1st

Seniorpalooza – 10:00 am – 1:00 pm, HS Football Field Area

Friday, June 2nd

Ticket Distribution, 9:00 am – 10:00 am, High School Gym

Sunday, June 4th

7:00pm- Baccalaureate

Monday, June 5th

9:00 am – 10:00 am – Senior Breakfast and Slideshow, HS Cafeteria

  • All pictures/Post-Graduation Plans due to Guidance/Mr. Reitz by the end of the day on May 26th.

10:00 am – Graduation Rehearsal in HS Gymnasium; Cap and Gown Distribution

  • Settling of Senior Bills
  • Failure to pay bill will result in withholding of diploma.

Tuesday, June 6th

10:00 am – Graduation Rehearsal, HS Gymnasium

2:00 – 3:30 pm – Senior Awards Assembly, HS Auditorium (parents/guests of seniors are welcome to attend).

3:30 – 4:00 – “Thank You” Card Distribution/filling out in the HS Literacy Café

Wednesday, June 7th

No school for seniors.  (Any senior who missed rehearsal on Monday or Tuesday will be required to report from 9:00am-11:00am.)

7:00pm- Commencement Ceremony in HS Gymnasium:

  • All seniors must report to the MS cafeteria in their caps/gowns no later than 6:15pm to prepare for the ceremony.  

Each senior will be given eight (8) tickets for their guests.  If a student’s family does not need all eight tickets, they are encouraged to share them with their classmates and families who request additional tickets.



If any current junior girl would like to represent Milton HS next fall at the Flaming Foliage Festival please sign up in the guidance office.

Attention juniors & seniors:  tickets for the 2017 Prom will be sold during Academic Support.  You may come to Mrs. Roush's room 121 or Mrs. Williams' room 237 to purchase tickets.  Tickets are $15.00 per person.  Please only come to our rooms during AS to purchase tickets. Ticket sales will continue through Friday, May 5th.
